Youth Council Application/Nomination


The application/nomination process for the American Red Cross Southwest Washington Youth Council is now open!

Please go to the Youth Leadership page for information about who we are and what we do.

A student may either apply for the Youth Council or be nominated by an adult.

Application

The application involves two components:

  1. An application to be completed by the student
  2. A reference to be completed by a mentor


The application is available in two versions, one that can be printed out and mailed, and another that can be completed electronically and emailed. You only need to use one of the two versions.

Nomination

If you are an educator or otherwise involved with youth active in community service and leadership and would like to nominate a student for the Youth Council, you may do so by submitting a nomination form.

A nominated student must complete the student portion of the application, but does not need a reference. See above for the application. More detailed instructions on nominating a student for the Youth Council are available here .

Deadline and Submission

If emailing, please be sure to attach both the application and essays to the email, and list the subject as Youth Council Application_last name_first name.
